Frequently asked questions

  • 1. How do I know if you are a legitimate company?

  • We have been open since 2016.

  • 2. How soon will my container deliver?

  • We are on average 7 to 10 business days out on delivery.  It can vary with truck availability.

  • 3. What are my payment options?

  • We can accept credit cards or Paypal with a 3.5% fee or we can do ACH or Venmo for free.

  • 4. Can I see pictures of the container before I purchase it?

  • Unfortunately, we do not catalog all our containers. Instead the industry has developed a grading system to determine the condition of the containers for resale. That way you know what you are getting when you purchase without pictures.  We carry Grade A used, also known as WWT.

  • 5. Can I talk to someone high up?

  • If you would like to talk to someone. Please call 385-529-0278 or send us an email at sales@largescalecontainers.com

  • 6. Can we paint the container?

  • The only place we offer painting service is in SLC. It is $650 and up depending on the container. It looks amazing! You can do it yourself pretty easily for about $250 dollars of supplies or there are contractors in any city that would be willing to come paint their container. The prices will vary based on their market, but they are easy to find.

  • 7. What's the difference between CW and WWT?

  • A lot of WWT containers are actually Cargo Worthy (CW) the difference is that CW has recently been inspected and passed the inspection to still move freight. If someone needs the inspection paperwork to use it for shipping it is extra cost.

  • 8. Do the containers have a lot of rust?

  • These are used containers that have been exposed to the elements and have been loaded and unloaded 100’s of times.  There is going to be some surface rust, dents and scratches, there can also be damage repair patches but overall the structure has been inspected and it is good. There are no obvious holes or leaks. This does not mean waterproof. (if surface rust is an issue then we suggest you upgrade to a 1-trip which will be nearly flawless on the outside.

  • 9.Can I come see them?

  • Unfortunately our storage depots are not set up with a viewing area for customers to see containers.  Instead the industry has developed a grading system to determine the condition of the containers for resale. That way you know what you are getting when you purchase the container.  I can send you some pictures of recent deliveries.

  • 10. How do I know my payment is secure?

  • We use Quickbooks to build your invoice and we also use their secure payment processing system so that way you know that the payment is secure.  We never even see your payment info.
